Marina Dunn

Marina Dunn graduated from the University of Arizona in 2018 with a degree in Astronomy. She was also the Chief Telescope Operator for the Steward Observatory Raymond E. White 21″ Telescope and Flandrau 16″ Telescope on campus from 2015-2018, and the President of Astronomy Club in 2017. She formerly did research with the Astronomy Club Exoplanet Project and Radio Project, and now does research with Dr. Christopher Walker on submillimeter observations of the Interstellar Medium using the SuperCam instrument, and working with balloon-borne telescopes, such as the NASA GUSTO mission. She has also worked as an Instructional Specialist for Astronomy Camp on Kitt Peak and Mt. Lemmon with Dr. Don McCarthy.

Originally from Franklin, TN, Marina began working in Astronomy at the Vanderbilt University Dyer Observatory, as a space camp counselor and astronomy volunteer. In addition to Astronomy, Marina enjoys biking, running, rock climbing, and hockey.
