ATOMM: Astronomy Tutoring Offered for Majors and Minors
Welcome to the main page for ATOMM. This program is designed to facilitate peer-tutoring activities between undergraduate students in the astronomy major track at the University of Arizona. The program is run through the University of Arizona Astronomy Club. The focus of the tutoring sessions will be on classes offered by the University of Arizona Department of Astronomy for students intending to major in astronomy; for more information, please consider visiting the department major website, located at https://www.as.arizona.edu/undergrad-major-information.
Meetings are currently held in-person in the Parker Library Room on the third floor of Steward Observatory and over Zoom. The link can be provided by request. Tutors will be graduate students and class teachers assistants. They will be helping with classes in Astronomy, Physics, and Math. Meeting times, currently, are:
- Tuesdays from 1 to 2 p.m.
- Wednesdays from 3 to 4 p.m.
- Thursdays from 10:30 a.m. to 12 p.m. and from 2 to 3 p.m.
